Whether a student should in persue of the fame of a university or to choose the hot major which has a promising future While he is applying for a university has long been a controversial problem.Some people hold that they should take the fame as their first consideration,They believe that a university with a good reputation will give them a better environment to study .As a result ,they believe that will put them to a prior situation when they want to get a ideal job after many year‘s hard working.

Other people,on the contrary,advocate that student should not take the fame as the crucial factor.In their eyes.a major with a promising future is the main goal,they argue that,only with a promising major can one have a good job after his graduation.And a university with a famous reputation will not alway do the job.A case in point is that,there are number of student who are graduate from the famous university xxx get into a awkward situation when he or she face the job competition.

With the two opposite opinions discussed above,it is clear that neither of them isn‘t reasonable.If the decision is up to me,I will chose the later point of view as my major principle,it goes without saying that I will benefit a lot from it.

Dear President:

I am a student who lives on campus and uses canteen services everyday. I would love to share my opinion on the services I received. Also, I have some suggestions on how to improve the canteen services so that the students can be better served.

First, I think the choice of food is limited. We only have three choices of food everyday, and the menu is the same for every three days. I feel tired about the food because I have the same thing every three days. Also, the taste is not as good as the home-made one because they put too much salt on the food. I think it is bad for the students’ health.

Second, the people who work in the canteen provide a very bad services to the students. They work very slow and have poor manner. We have to wait on a line for 5 minutes in order to get food. You know how precious the time is, especially for students. They just act and response in a very slow way. And when you ask them questions about the food, such as what that is, and how the food taste, those workers just simple answer “I don’t know” in a poor manner.

I think the canteen services need to be improved. Students who live on campus will treat canteen like home because that is a place where they eat. However, the canteen just cannot give students a very harmony environment. So I think the canteen services really need improvement.

My taste

Since I was a child, I always dream about playing table tennis. I did play some nice ball games, but I often got beaten badly. However, it didn‘t reduce my interest in table tennis. I was crazy to stand in front of table and raised my paddle. As soon as I got off the school, I would rash to tennis table right away. There were few tables on the school, therefore I had to wait for a long time to play but my skill didn‘t improve much. Nevertheless, I didn‘t care about it. I thought I had a good time in playing table tennis and I listed it as my best taste.

Now, I am grow-up and have left school for a while. I don‘t have time and hardly find a friend to play table tennis. But doctor said I needed some exercise for my health. I figured out I still could play table tennis, only if I played the ball against the wall. Many of my friends passed by my house. They llikely came in to see me, because they heard the noices of ball bouncing back and forth. It was my exercises in playing table tennis without table. They were curious about my crazy action. I didn‘t mind they made fun about me. I, on the other hand, liked to introduce to them that was my taste and fancy way of exercise.

When you make it to an interview, perhaps one of the most important things to remember is that there is no real downside from here on, so long as you have done the preparation. Hopefully, you will end up getting the job, but even if you don’t, you’re getting valuable practice in doing interviews. Remember that practice definitely works to your advantage. Never let yourself become jaded, complacent, or pessimistic just because you’ve been to a few interviews without getting the job .

That said, it can be difficult to know how to present yourself,especially when different sources offer contradictory advice. One employment agency’s website may advise you to maintain strong eye contact with the interviewer, use a firm hand shake, and rehearse answers to common questions beforehand. The next may talks about employers being turned off by the mechanical eye contact, crushing handshake, and scripted answers of candidates who just read a “How to succeed in a job interview” manual.

There are some things on which there seems to be common agreement, including:

Be on time, and be well and neatly dressed and groomed.

Maintain good posture at all times, whether seated, standing, or walking (without overdoing things

to the point of appearing false or mechanical).

Be enthusiastic, positive, and engaged. Do not appear apathetic, bored, or sullen.

Make sure you have done your homework on researching the company in general, and the position in particular.
