摘要：An objective comprising, on the one hand, at least two groups of lenses (I, II, III,IV) movable along the axis in the course of the variations of focal length which arecommanded by the operator, the final image remaining fixed during these variations foran object situated at a given distance from the objective, and, on the other hand, at least

two other groups of lenses (I, IV) participating, by their displacement along the axis, inthe variations of focusing distance which are commanded independently by the operator.In this objective, at least one of these focusing groups (I, IV) has its position determinedby a law which is a function of these two independent variables which are the focal lengthand the focusing distance which are commanded by the operator. The displacements ofthe group (I, IV) in question in relation to the final image are less, in absolute value, than5% of its own focal length in the course of the variations of focusing distance. Now, theeffect of these displacements is to correct certain aberrations which would appear if itwere not displaced in the course of the variations of focusing distance. This objective maybe used in cine and photographic equipment as well as television.
