摘要：A process for the thermal treatment of wastes by injection of the wastes, via anozzle/burner system, comprising a burner and a centrally seated atomisation nozzle,into an adiabatic combustion chamber with the use of a carrier fuel and a suitable oxidantdepending on the type of combustion conditions, characterised in that under reducingand/or oxidising reaction conditions at temperatures between 600 DEG C and 2000 DEG C- in particular temperatures between 900 DEG C and 1100 DEG C - the nitrogen bound inthe ammonium sulphate is principally converted into nitrogen (N2) and not into nitrogenoxides (NO, NO2) with simultaneous recovery of gaseous sulphur compounds (SO2, SO3,COS, H2S etc.).
