Unit 9The English Club

 

一、教学要求

1 能听懂会说会读和会拼写单词

French, a city, visit, UK, British, USA, American, Japan,

Japanese, France.

2 能听懂会说会读和会拼写句型

Where are you from? I’m/He’s/She’s/It’s/We’re/They’re from…

Do you speak…? Yes, I do. I speak…, too. No, I don’t. I speak…

3能听懂会说会读日常交际语及句型

Are you from different countries? I’d like to visit it.

4 了解元音字母组合ea在单词中的读音

5 会诵读歌谣Come here and meet us, please

二、教学重难点:

1 能听懂会说会读和会拼写单词

2 能听懂会说会读和会拼写句型

Where are you from? I’m/He’s/She’s/It’s/We’re/They’re from…

3能听懂会说会读日常交际用语

Are you from different countries? I’d like to visit it.

三、单元教材分析

本单元的核心教学内容是介绍国家国籍和语言重点学习句型Where are you from? Do you speak…? 及其答语学生已学过ChinaChineseEnglish因此教师可采用以旧带新的方法拓展相关内容本单元着重介绍六个国家的名称和语言教师可以结合学生掌握情况适当补充另外一些国家的名称和语言为学生进一步交际提供较为广阔的训练空间由于以前的教科书中已出现过几种水果的复数形式本册第八单元又出现了几种昆虫的复数形式教师可以结合本单元children. countries等单词对名词复数的变化规则和读音进行归类整理

Unit 9  The English Club第一课时

一、教学内容

B Look, read and learn & C Ask and answer.

二、教学目标

1 四会单词UK, British, USA, American, Japan, Japanese, French , France.

2 四会句型 Where are you from? I am from …

           Where is he/ she from?   He’s/She’s from …

三、教学重点

能听懂会说会读和会拼写UK, British, USA, American, Japan, Japanese, French , France.

四、教学难点

会用句型Where are you from? I am from …Where is he/ she from?

He’s/ She’s from …进行交际

五、教学准备

1教具准备

1) 有关国家的国旗

2关于本课时的多媒体课件

3录音机和磁带

4板书准备写好课题和日期

六、教学过程

Step1 Sing a song

Hobbies

Step 2: Free talk / Revision

1. T: Do you have any hobbies?

   S: Yes, I do. I like …

   T: I like taking photos. I often take photos here and there. Look  课件出示几位体育明星的照片从而引起学生的兴趣。)指着刘翔的图片问学生

 T: Who is he? Where is he from? 由此导入新课  

同时板书  Where is he /she from ?   Where are you from?                                          

Step 3: Presentation and practice

1 教师进行示范性讲解T: Yes. His name is Liu Xiang. He’s from China. He’s Chinese. He speaks Chinese. 出示单词China  Chinese 及国旗图片领读生跟读 同时讲解名词和形容词的用法然后问学生Where are you from?

S: I am from…然后使学生们用A: Where are you from? B: I am from…

进行自我介绍

2.  指着英国球星Beckham的图片

      T: Who is the famous man?

      S: He's Beckham.

      T: Where's he from?

师自言自语:Beckham is from the UK. We call the people in this country “British”. He's British. He speaks English.

边说边出示单词UK  British  English 和国旗图片, 师领读生跟读并引导学生用she, I, you等人称代词造句注意纠正单词British的发音

3同法指NBA篮球巨星Jordan的图片

 T: Who is the famous man?

 S: He's Jordan.

 T: Where's Jordan from?

引导学生说 He is from the USA. He's American. He speaks English.

同时出示单词USA   American   English   和国旗图片, 师领读生跟读依然引导学生用she, I, you等人称代词造句并注意纠正单词American的发音

4同法教授以下单词除了出示各国的名人图片外也可出示各国标志性的图片日本的富士山法国的埃菲儿铁塔澳大利亚的袋鼠等而引出

Australia,    Australian,     English

师领读生跟读同时让学生两人小组操练并可补充教授一些单词教法同上

Step4 Listen, read and learn /Look and say

1 听音跟读Part B

2 课件出示Part C的有关图片让学生分组练习教师可以先和一位同学示范表演一幅

3 学生表演

Step 4 Consolidation

1教师将准备好的六个国家的国旗图片分发给学生玩击鼓传花的游戏同时播放音乐让他们在节奏欢快的音乐声中自由传递图片当音乐停止时请手持国旗图片的六位学生依次用句型I’m from… I’m … I speak…进行自我介绍

2 把学生分成六组每组发一个国家的国旗图片再请几位学生扮演记者到各组进行采访

3 运用所学的单词和句型进行操练

4 听录音

4 能用简单的语言介绍自己的国籍

5 能正确理解对话内容并能朗读和初步表演对话

1 能正确地听写单词city, visit .

2能正确地听写句型 Do you speak ...?及其答语Yes ,I do./No, I don't. I speak…

3能正确理解对话内容并能朗读和初步表演对话

四、教学难点

   能比较流畅地朗读对话并能在掌握对话的基础上分角色表演对话

六 、教学过程

Step 1: Free talk / Revision

1师生问候

2What’s missing? 游戏开始教师出示China, UK, USA, Australia, Japan, French等国家国旗的图片以最快的速度抽出一幅问学生What’s missing?

S: … (学生说出被抽出的国家名称及其语言)

3把国旗分发给几位同学请拿不同国家国旗的学生用第一课时所学过的句型进行自我介绍比一比看谁说得最棒

Step 2: Presentation and practice

1师指着拿着不同国旗的孩子们说They are from different countries.同时板书此句型并解释这句的意思同时告诉孩子们countriescountry的复数.

2TI have some friends. They are from different countries, too. Now they are in the English club. Do you want to meet them?

S: Yes.

T: Let’s go, OK?

出示有关A部分的图片和课件

1出示A部分的图片

TWho are in the English club?

S: They are…

TWho is the man ?

引导学生说S: He is a visitor. 同时板书visitor师领读并讲解生跟读开火车读             

TWhat are the children doing ?

引导学生说S: The children are talking to the man.

2)TGood, now, let’s look and Listen:播放A部分课件让学生边看边听

播放完第一段后暂停课件出示以下问题

a. Does the English club have a visitor?

b. What's the visitor's name?

c. What are the children doing?

S: 学生根据问题一一回答

继续播放课件然后再出示以下问题

a. Where is the man from?

b. Does he speak Chinese?

c. Does he like Shanghai?

d. Does Nancy speak Chinese, too?

e. What would the man like to do?

S: 学生根据以上问题一一回答当学生回答b. c. d 三题时教师可以引导学生回答b. No, he doesn't. He speaks English. c. Yes, he does. d. Yes, she does.同时出示句型师领读生跟读D项的教学做铺垫当学生回答e题时教师也可以引导学生回答He'd like to visit Shanghai. 板书并教授visit师领读生跟读同时讲解和visitor区别

Step 3: Listen, read and act

1完整播放录音一遍学生模仿跟读

 2学生自由朗读教师巡视并给予指导

 3学生分角色朗读对话

4学生小组操练

5请几组学生上台表演

Step 4: Look and say

     引导学生回答完整的句型SNo, I don't. I speak Chinese.

2 出示句型 A: Do you speak...?

                  B: Yes, I do. I speak ..., too. /No, I don't. I speak…以及D项图片

 3 学生分小组自由操练教师巡视指导

 4学生表演

5如果时间允许可以让学生用第三人称单数进行拓展练习
